To ensure traceability, all assets receive a unique barcode and item number linked to the job reference.

Core hardware specifications
Make/Model
Manufacturer and model details logged to support inventory and resale decisions.
Description
Equipment type description (Laptop, Desktop PC, etc.).
Serial No and Asset Tag
Unique serial numbers and any internal tags recorded for asset matching and traceability.
Data Erasure Certificate Number
Corresponding certificate number confirming successful data sanitisation.
Origination of Disk
Reporting that clearly links the master device, such as a laptop, to the disk installed within it, also known as a Parent/Child connection.
Condition & Grade
Comments on the physical and functional condition of the IT asset, along with its industry-standard grade classification, ranging from A (like new) to D (poor condition).
Status
Confirming whether an asset has been recycled, reused, data erased or physically shredded.
